Ian Barstow has one passionate goal-  to help you improve.

Ian Barstow grew up on an Aboriginal Community in Northern Australia. In 1990 he graduated from University of Queensland, one of Australia’s leading universities with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. In 1991 he moved to USA to pursue his passion sportsmedicine at clinics in Georgia and Florida. In 1992 he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Ian was head physical therapist at University of Florida Spine Care Program from 1997-1999, where he worked with some of the worlds leading physicians in sportsmedicine. During this time he came to see the importance of a multidisciplinary (360) approach to patient optimization and the importance of preventative medicine.

In 1998 after completing a clinical trial in exercise Ian attained his Master’s in Health science from the Univiersity of Florida. He has been a an Adjunct Professor at University of Florida lecturing biomechanics. a guest lecturer for the American Physical Therapy Association and has presented numerous seminars throughout the US.

He moved to Miami in 1999, where he worked with physicians to develop  a new approach to improving health and performance. This approach is based on Ian’s observation that prevention is the best medicine and there is only a small group of people that use this knowledge, professional athletes. Ian believed to get the best out of you, you deserve to trained like the pro athletes do.

Ian’s success in Miami lead to him be offered High Performance Position with numerous professional athletes. For the past 10 years Ian has passionately worked with pro tennis players using his unique methods known as  You Improved 360. Ian is currently designing an app YOU Improved 360, and starting a practice in Delray Beach to help people improve. Ian is married to Melinda Czink a former Olympic Athlete, and professional tennis player  (WTA #37) and  they reside in beautiful Delray Beach Florida.
